Overview:

Lance Kendricks may very well be the best TE in this years draft. While he is not the best pass catcher, the best athlete, nor the best blocker. He is a well-rounded player that does well in all facets of the game. He is good athlete and while he may not run an eye-popping 40, the speed shows up on the field. He catches the ball well but he is also a solid blocker, especially for someone his size. He gives you the best of both worlds at TE and is a really solid prospect.

Scouting Report:

Positives

– Good athlete
– Great in-game speed
– Quick release off the line
– Can line up in the slot and can be moved around in the offense

– Presents a vertical threat at TE and can find himself behind the defense
– Tough runner after the catch
– Good blocker

– Plays with great leverage and drives his feet
– Good motor

Negatives

– A bit small for a TE
– Could get stronger
– Will get overpowered by bigger guys despite his good technique and motor
