Akeem Ayers

Height: 6’3

2008 – 40 tackles, 5.0 TFL, 4.0 sacks, 3 PBU

Akeem Ayers shouldn’t go higher than the 3rd round. He’s a huge project and he is not capable of starting right away. He’s got bad instincts, he struggles to shed blocks and he can’t even wrap up consistently. The little potential he does show is as a pass-rusher. He has a great first step and long arms but other than that has very little technique. Whatever position he ends up playing, he’s going to need a lot of coaching.
